Rheological analyses to assess the performance of products and the design of installations

The rheological properties of mineral and synthesis products are good predictors of their performance during use, especially in transport and lubrication applications.

Rheological data also allow to feed analytical or numerical calculations to warrant the right sizing of installations for the treatment of mining or waste products, and thereby warrant reaching the breakeven.

Examples of rheological studies we performed:

  • Sizing of a pumping installation for sludges
  • Interfacial rheology in oil/water emulsions
